My philosophy about fine art is that it comes not only from knowledge of the medium used but from a place within the artist that is rather spiritual in nature. The end result is , thus, one that typically evokes a sense of emotion in the viewer, whether it be surprise, laughter, sadness or anger. A piece of art should have a sense of balance and visual appeal, regardless of the type of emotion it inspires. I feel like the work that I produce both induces some sort of feeling in the viewer and attracts attention for its visual appeal. My commitment is to continue creating art, expand my education in a variety of mediums, and participate actively in the art community.
