Artist Statement
Taste, touch, smell sight and sound create an awareness of surroundings and sensibilities.
Layers of acrylic paint and collage create heightened depth and interest. Abstract shapes and forms allow the eye to move through the canvas whether the subject be objective or non-objective. The creative experience, for me, is both conscious and subliminal. It is a spiritual place within that produces a work that has the ability to evoke response from the viewer.
